Meeting migrant workers' needs

As I have mentioned in my ‘ Bridging the Gap ’ section, many of the migrant workers in Bahrain get paid minimum wages and it’s difficult for many to meet their living expenses.

I have collected donations to arrange food packets and dry rations for the migrant workers. The date and time are pre-arranged and the delivery is done to their labor camps or community houses, where they congregate on their weekly off days.  I have also arranged snacks and food for the migrant workers during the month of Ramadan when many of them are fasting from dawn to dusk.

I also participated in “Relieving the Hunger” on International Labor Day organized by the Lions Club.
